eMurmur Heartpedia 1.4.0

eMurmur Heartpedia is the upgraded version of Heartpedia, developed in collaboration with Cincinnati Children's Hospital. This app has been created with the intention of assisting patients, families, and healthcare professionals in gaining a better understanding of heart defects and their treatments.

Users have access to accurate 3D models depicting normal, defective, and repaired hearts. Furthermore, they can listen to corresponding heart murmurs, watch informative video animations, and learn more about these conditions through audio and text descriptions.

NEW FEATURES compared to the original Heartpedia app:

• Heart murmurs:
  • Listen to murmurs associated with normal or defective hearts
  • Visualize S1/S2 markers (representing the "lub" and "dub" sounds)
  • Adjust the speed of heart sound and murmur playback
  • Customize murmur sounds using different filter modes such as bell, diaphragm, wide band, or raw
  • Phonocardiogram visualization option to view heart sounds and murmurs in amplitude mode, or intensity and pitch mode
• Design and user interface upgrades:
  • Newly redesigned interface
  • Quick switch function for seamless navigation between different heart defects
  • Audio playback functionality for heart defect descriptions
